Bob has been a practising therapist for over 25yrs and has a wide variety of skills and experience. Currently he runs a busy therapy practice based in Morpeth Northumberland as well as being principal of the Northumbrian Academy of Clinical Therapies. He started his working life in the Army where he was an officer in the Royal Horse Artillery serving in several areas of the world; on leaving the Army he went on to work in many diverse areas such as Nursing, the Civil Service and British Telecom to name but a few.

Throughout his life he has always had a passion for helping people and being a Buddhist went to Japan to train in the Zen tradition and where he also trained in the Eastern styles of Reiki, Reflexology and other forms of natural therapy.

Back in the UK he continued to develop and perfect his skills in areas such as Clinical Hypnotherapy, Thought Field Therapy (TFT), SymbioDynamics, Indian Head Massage and many others.

Bob has sought out training with some of the worlds leading experts in Clinical and Complementary therapies such as Terence Watts, Roger Callahan and Richard Bandler, along the way gaining some of the highest qualifications there are in the profession and obtaining trainer accreditation status in many areas.

His passion for passing on the information he has gained over the years has lead him to train and qualify as a teacher of further education, allowing him to design and deliver training courses in complementary therapies to schools and colleges. Bob gained a PhD in psychology in 1996 and has undertaken many thousands of hours in client based counselling as well as teaching psychology to higher education establishments.

Having had many enquiries from students wanting to learn different types of therapies and from already qualified therapists wanting to expand their knowledge into other areas. Bob set about bringing together a team of specialised therapists with some of the highest qualifications and experience among them to help him establish new and exciting training academy.
